Welcome to the Back-to-School Giveaway hosted by Freetail Therapy, My Husband Ate All My Ice Cream and Food -n- Service. We are so excited to be able to offer this great giveaway!

I am really excited to be working with TerraCycle on this event. They are offering part of the Grand Prize, and they sent my son two backpacks to review. He was THRILLED!

They asked me to pick one out for him, and I knew he would LOVE the Doritos one, but their website said they were out of stock. I let them know that if they didn’t have any Doritos ones left,t hat he would also like the Lay’s backpack, and they sent him BOTH! I must say, they totally made his day when he opened that box! This is Owen, he is 10 and he has Asperger’s Syndrome. His fixation is food and he wants to be a Chef when he grows up. If it pertains to food, Owen loves it! He didn’t believe that it was a backpack at first. “They sent you Doritos? COOL!” and when I showed him the straps, he was even more excited. “Can I wear it to school?” Yep, kid, you sure can! He can’t wait for the first day, which is on Thursday here, just so he can show all his friends his backpack. They are a little on the small side, so he may not be able to fit all of his school supplies in there, but he doesn’t seem to mind, since he would only be carrying them in on the first day, and they would stay there until the end of the year. He would only be bringing home a folder or two, so the size wasn’t an issue for us.

Willow Stevens

Willow is a mother of six who begins to feel the empty nest, with faer oldest child living with his long-time girlfriend in another state, and the next three begin their talks about jobs and the excitement of college and living alone. Willow started couponing in 2007 to save their family some money on the grocery budget. That's how Freetail Therapy was born, so that fae could share their knowledge of saving money with others. Though the site has become so much more since then, and now includes homeschooling and homesteading info, Willow still does it all on a budget and shares how. Willow enjoys snagging freebies, snuggling with their dog, Xander, drinking decaf coffee, gardening, cannabis and of course, their large frugal family.
