With price inflation happening around the globe thanks to COVID, Dollar Tree is following suit and increasing their prices by a quarter, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue, because they are getting in some really great things – like all these miniature games! For $1.25, they are a great deal!

I bought one of each game they had in stock – a grand total of 7 classic board games for $8.75! I was impressed with the quality and attention to detail for most of the games. Unfortunately, I have one major issue with these Monopoly games, and that’s the fact that they only come with 2 cards for each Community Chest and Chance – they’re both “Get out of Jail Free” cards. Where’s the rest?! I can’t imagine it would have affected their bottom line to include the full set. I’m thinking about just making more cards, so the game is complete, but we’ve still got a functional game without them.

With that being said, I was overall satisfied with my purchase and also picked up a tote bucket for storage of these games.

All 7 games fit in this blue box inside of their own boxes, but I realized the small pieces would easily fall out of those boxes and decided to put them in one-gallon Ziplock bags instead. I cut the front off of each box and placed the game image inside the bags for easy identification. These games are a fantastic space saver, and I hope to see more like this at Dollar Tree in the future.
