FFXIV: Valentione’s Day 2022

There’s the smell of chocolate in the air, and everyone is giggling and googly eyed, totally lost in their own worlds. What’s going on here?! Lisette always has the scoop, so Gridania’s my first stop. I’m not surprised to hear that a moogle is behind this. Not just any moogle though, I’ve worked with them in the past, and knew I was going to be in for an adventure if I agreed to whatever they might be asking of me this time.

I was asked to help a fellow delivery moogle see a happier side of Valentione’s Day, but she seems to have a similar idea of the holiday as I do. BLAH! Let’s see how this goes. Thankfully, I was tasked with the physical labor, and my partner was to handle the Valentione’s cheer. I was glad to hand that job off.

We shadowed the postal route, and I must admit, this post moogle was RUDE! Just trash talking gifts that people lovingly sent. A few deliveries in, and the postal mog was understanding that different people enjoy different things, and there’s nothing wrong with gifts that may not strictly follow the specific holiday guidelines: chocolates and hearts.

As usual, the gig didn’t pay much, but I was offered a beautiful barding set for Starbeaks, and who am I to refuse such a thoughtful gift? Of course, we had to try it on, and it was a perfect fit!

Though the site has become so much more since then, and now includes homeschooling and homesteading info, Willow still does it all on a budget and shares how.
