Update for Window Vegetable Garden

I tried reaching for the stars with my window planters and going big with tomatoes, thai peppers, wax beans, and tons of herbs. The herbs did wonderful in every size bottle, although the 16oz bottles were difficult to keep properly watered. The tomatoes in the one and two liter bottles needed either more space or to be cut back and trained to grow smaller. I chose not to train them just to see what happened but I only got one tomato. Something is growing in one of the square foot garden beds and perhaps is the reason plants are not growing well in the one bed. I also have uninvited "visitors" in the garden. I have begun to capture them by hand before they infest the entire garden. I can no longer find the Rontenone and think it has been regulated out of exisitence! Garden Update: Planting Vegetables

The turning, tilling, weeding, and making of rows is finished. Now it's time to lant the garden and get the vegetables into the ground. The shade provided from the Tree of Heaven is relieving. I find it hard to get up from my lawn chair at times, so comfortable and enjoyable to watch the balloons flying overhead.
